Events Manager

As the Events Manager for Historic St. Mary’s City, Mary’s goal is to make your wedding and private event dreams come true. While Mary cannot control the weather, there is always a plan B in case Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate on any chosen day. The new pavilion by the (reconstructed) State House of 1676 makes a perfect venue for any event.

Mary married the love of her life and together they raised 4 sons that have since graduated from college and are off pursuing their own careers. An Events Manager often requires more than a 40 hour work week and Mary willingly goes the extra mile to make sure each event day is perfect. Prior to working at HSMC, Mary was the team parent coordinator for the USNA Heavy Weight Crew Team and the team parent coordinator for the Salisbury University Football Team while her sons attended the respective institutions. Mary has extensive experience in organizing and bringing to fruition many sporting and private business events and brings that expertise to HSMC.
