12:30 p.m. Town Center Foggy Bottom Morris Men Morris Dancing is a form of English folk dance performed by a group. The Foggy Bottom Morris Men having been performing throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia since 1977.
1:00 p.m. Town Center Maypole Celebration Dance around the Maypole with the colonists, as you take part in this traditional fair activity.

2:30 p.m. Town Center John Salter Trial The best days to hold court were days when a majority of the local population was in one location. Fair days, like May Day, were such opportunities. John Salter is accused of pig thievery and spreading false rumors against Sara Peacock. Guilty or innocent?
3:45 p.m. Waterfront Cannon Fire Learn how and why the crew of Maryland Dove uses the ship’s cannons, and why they are called murtherers. It ends with a bang, so don’t forget to cover your ears.

Town Center:
Try your hand at several 17th-century games.
Living History Exhibits:
Enjoy living history at the Woodland Indian Hamlet, the reconstructed Town Center, the Maryland Dove, and the Godiah Spray Tobacco Plantation.
While strolling the exhibit paths, don’t forget to explore the 18th-century Mackall Barn; Van Sweringen’s Inn; the reconstructed State House of 1676; and the reconstructed Brick Chapel of 1667, which features the crypt that houses the re-interred lead coffins of Philip Calvert and his family. Before you end your visit, drive down Rosecroft Road to the current site of the 19th-century Brome Howard house (now the Inn at Brome Howard), to see the Struggle for Freedom exhibit. The exhibit is located inside a building that was originally constructed to house the men and women who were enslaved laborers at the Brome plantation. Struggle for Freedom explores what the lives of African Americans were like from before the Civil War to the early 20th century.
