Learn one of humanity’s oldest technologies during this hands-on workshop at the Woodland Indian Hamlet. Participants will explore the process of transforming a deer hide into usable material using techniques inspired by traditional methods and adapted for modern instruction. If additional work is needed after the workshop, participants will receive complete instructions to finish their hide at home.
Perfect for those interested in primitive skills, historical lifeways, or hands-on experiences, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with the past in a meaningful and tactile way. All materials provided. Space is limited—register early!
