Saturday, June 25. Summer Family Day Pottery Workshop

10:30 a.m.—12:30 p.m.

For ages 6-Adults

HSMC is offering a workshop designed for families who are looking for a creative way to have fun learning together and getting their hands dirty. This program offers a unique opportunity to learn about the earliest forms of pottery, and the indigenous culture that produced it. Through demonstrations, and hands-on learning, families will gain an understanding of the history of pottery and the stages of development, and will be able to form, shape and smooth their own small pot using local clay with the traditional methods they have learned.

$25 /Members $15

* Participants of this workshop will not fire their pots during the program.

This program is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, workshops will move inside, or the program will be canceled with refunds given.
